Welcome to Zao Freizeit Ski and Snowboard School
Our friendly instructors will help you improve your skiing and snowboarding skills quickly and show you around Zao Onsen Ski Resort.
Our association is playing a role globally as a member nation of the International Ski Instructors Association.
We also have our Technical Ski Tests and Speed Tests(English/Chinese) which have been approved by ISIA in which you can measure your skills.

Below are some points that will help you before checking the price list and meeting time and point.
Please check them carefully.
•International guests are not automatically covered under insurance. Please purchase additional travel insurance at various vendors to cover the cost of any accidents or losses.

• Payment Methods We accept online payment systems in advance.
•Lessons in basic English are available. It might be difficult to communicate, but we will try to do our best. Please follow and listen to your instructor, and your skills will improve quickly!

•School fees do not include the cost of lift passes or ski/snowboard equipment.
•There are several rental shops in Zao Onsen Ski Resort. Your accommodation may also provide equipment. We can recommend some shops.
※Our partnership rental shop has a discount late but only for SKI/SB sets, jackets, and pants. There is no rental service for goggles and gloves but they sell them.
•Please arrive at the meeting point 10 minutes early. All lessons finish on time, if you are late, the lesson will be shorter with no refund.
※About the ski lesson, the age must be 4 years old and over.
※About the snowboard lesson, the age must be 10 years old and over.
•Fees apply for all canceled reservations. All reservations canceled on the same day after 8:00 AM will incur a 80% fee.
“No shows” and reservations canceled without notice will pay the full 100%.
