Our friendly instructors will help you improve your skiing and snowboarding skills quickly and show you around Zao Onsen Ski Resort. Come and enjoy this beautiful resort with us!
Below are some important points to review before checking the price list, meeting time, and meeting location. Please read them carefully.
Lessons are offered in basic, very simple English. Communication may be challenging at times, but we will do our best to assist you. Please listen carefully to your instructor and follow their guidance; your skills will improve quickly.

While our school has a basic insurance plan, the coverage amount is very limited and only provides a small payout in case of injury. It does not fully cover medical expenses or other losses. We strongly advise all international guests to purchase their own travel insurance for adequate protection.

•School fees do not include the cost of lift passes or ski/snowboard equipment rentals.
•There are several rental shops at Zao Onsen Ski Resort, and your accommodation may also offer equipment rentals.
Please arrive at the meeting point 10 minutes early. All lessons end promptly at the scheduled time. If you are late, your lesson time will be shortened accordingly, and no refund will be given.
•Regarding ski lessons, participants must be 5 years old or older, and children up to 7 years old can only take half-day lessons. For snowboard lessons, the minimum age is 10 years old.

Your reservation will be confirmed once online payment is completed.
-Cancellation Policy
Up to 3 days in advance: No charge
Up to 2 days in advance: 30% fee
The day before: 50% fee
On the day after 8:00 AM: 100% fee
If the lesson is not possible due to heavy rain, no cancellation fee will be charged.
If all the lifts stop on the day and the lesson becomes impossible, no cancellation fee will be charged.

Ski lessons are available from age 5, and children up to 7 years old can only take half-day lessons. Snowboard lessons are available from age 10.

Private Group Lesson (Up to 7 years old and max 4people)

For children 6 years old and under, we only offer private lessons; group lessons are not available.
We recommend small-group lessons for families with young children or first-time skiers, as beginners progress at different speeds.
For customers who are skiing for the first time, a half-day is not enough, so we recommend taking lessons for at least one full day.
